Saturday, my family and i went to tampines mall. At one point, we went to swensens because we have a coupon for complimentary sundae icecream. So we ordered banana split and my parents ate it as i'm too full for any. I was telling my mum that it should be free, but she argued that they still charge service charge and GST. I told her that service charge and GST are 15%. $0 X 15% IS STILL $0!!!! But she didnt believe me and said that they might charge that 15% to the original price. In the end i was right :)
At night, we went to NEX, the new shopping mall located at Serangoon. We passed by the place we once lived, Serangoon.. but couldnt really bring back any memories as i only stayed there for a few years since my date of birth. The more fond memory is the Flag Day my class did during sec 3 times. I still rmb walking all over the area, asking for donations to the Singapore Planned Parenthood Association. Actually, we didnt know what the organisation mentioned did... when ppl asked, we just assume that they are donating to orphans? (as suggested by the word "parenthood" ?? ) I didnt collect alot of money and my teacher asked me why... I just told her "no one likes me." LOL
Monday, went to pool with jefferson (jeff), kok hwee (kok) and liang xing (lx). Nich khaw (nk) came later to be a spectator of the game LOL. We then decided to lan together too. And we played lan for 3 hours at only $5, it was sure cheap. We played games like Counter Strike 1.6, DoTA, Counter Strike Source, Left for Dead 2, Call of Duty.
