Chapter 321:

Exactly 19 years ago, it was a stormy night... A strange phenomenon was witnessed across the cloudy skies of the entire world. Scientists, astronomists, philosophists, and many other experts gathered to discuss and investigate what was going on..
It turns out that there is an imminent revolution. A strange power is about to descend upon planet Earth. Change is about to happen. The world is going to change for the better.

One day later, 1st May 1993, something legendary happened. An important figure was born onto planet Earth to make this world a better place to live in. Lives of the people improved tremendously since his birth.

Chapter 320: Stay Out

Finished the last test of my course. Book out at 5pm. And from now on, I get to stay out!!! Finally, I get to sleep at home, bathe at home, eat nice dinner at home haha. The disadvantage is that I need to spend more money on transportation, breakfast and dinner...

Next week is on practicals, hope they dont test us on that haha. Orelse I am going to get the "excuse test" status from the MO.

Went to Compasspoint after bookout. Ate Burger King with my sis, we ordered the BK A4Dables. Then my family (including me) went to M1 shop... only to be faced with the fact that Blackberry non-cam phones are out of stock country-wide... like what... now, what phone am I going to change to??? Damn, I need help... Anyone knows any smartphone with no camera function?? I need a phone desperately or there is going to be pests overrun by mice..

And Aviva rejected my application for the SAF group insurance thing again... first, they rejected my signature and said I needed thumbprint... Now they reject my thumbprint... saying the thumbprint needs to be verified by a POSB staff... what the...

Sian, we are supposed to cut hair again... when I already possess non-existent hair already... why...

Saturday: Went to beach road to buy a bag for my working purposes. Then, went to E-mart at Mount Faber, to buy socks and admin shirt. We then went to Tampines for the usual shopping session with family.

Chapter 319:

Sunday: Went to offer prayers to my ancestors.. forgot what is the proper word to use for this.. but oh wells...
My cousin and aunt then brought my sis and I and another cousin to eat at "Strictly Pancakes".  I forgot what is the one I ordered already but the dish "What a spread" is awesome. My aunt gave me some to try before I found out its awesomeness.. I would have eaten that if only my sis doesnt detest peanut butter... There is delicious ice cream for that dish too... and a chocolate bar.. Nice stuffs :)
We then went to grandparents house for dinner, before I head home and prepare for book in.

And so, I survived the major event in camp. I'm not sure if I am allowed to reveal what it is in this public place. To find out what it is, proceed to a private place to see. (if you know what I am referring to.) I feel relieved now. Back to normal camp life I guess haha. Staying out next week :D
And next week is the last week of course... I dont know whether to feel happy or not... that depends on the people in my unit... hopefully it will be a great experience...

Meanwhile, its time to enjoy the small amounts of nights out time, before returning to camp tonight.

Chapter 318: After Block Leave

Went back to camp after block leave. Started life as a private, which is better than recruit for sure. However, I think its better not for me to reveal too much of my life there. So, one fine day in camp, I went to the mess and tried a sip and a mouth of Tiger Beer. First time drinking. I think it tastes horrible :X I think I am not suitable for drinking haha. Ok, thats all.

There is something major coming up for me next week in camp... I hope I pull it through.. I'm the only one in my course doing it... like sianzz to the max... really.. I'm afraid of screwing it up.. as there is no one for me to follow this time, no one by my side to help me at all... hopeful that I can brave this one through... Till then...

Now it is time for me to enjoy the weekends while it lasts.. till book in..

And why does Manchester United always play their matches on Sunday? I dont know if I'm watching the coming one... as I need to go back to camp on the same day as well... ahh see how first.

Chapter 317: Homecoming Day

I thought I wouldnt be going for this year's Xinmin Homecoming day, but i did anyways, after Zhenglin invited me. So the plan is to reach as early as 10.. And I woke up around 9, took breakfast, and changed and rushed there.. no matter how "fast" I rushed, i reached only at 1015 lol.
By then, Zhenglin, Jefferson and Gamaliel were there already lol. So I'm like very unusually late..

So we went in and went to the hall to wait for mr Pah. But it is very long.. besides, the teacher "chased" us out as it would be unsightly for us to stay around when the VIPS make their exit.. So we went down to the canteen first. Btw, Darren Tan joined us.
So, Jeff was saying that it is possible to buy stuffs without the homecoming day coupon. We already told him that that isnt possible.. but he insisted.
So, all of us wanted to see how he did it and how skillful he can be haha.
In the end, he failed terribly LOL. The alumni (stall vendor) referred him to the stall selling homecoming day coupons lol. So he spent 6 dollars eating and the remaining 4 on 2 chicken wings. Then we went to find Mr Pah. Saw Ms yeo too. Then we left.

Homecoming is getting boring... the number of stalls decreased dramastically... must be the restrictions imposed by the new principal... going thru a revolution I guess?
So, we left for Hougang plaza to play pool. Liang Xing joined us shortly after.
While we were about to end, Darren Leong called me, saying that Randolph and him are in school for homecoming day... Then I told him we were leaving already lol. And then, I took mrt down to Somerset to go to 313@Somerset to meet my parents.

Then I went to NEX with parents. Then I went home.

Sian.. having runny nose.. sneezing alot.. unbearable.. now I am drowsy after taking the medicine... and typing this at the same time haha.

Sian, 402 guys going ms yeo house on monday... while I need to book in on sunday night... what... means I have no chance of going... saddening.

Block Leave ends tomorrow for me... Its time to start Private Life~~

Chapter 316: Wed, Thurs

Wednesday: Went to travel to my camp via public transport with my mum. First time doing so, to familiarise myself with which stop to alight and etc.. as I might need to take public transport to/from camp when I get nights out on Wed, and when I get to stay out. So hopefully, I get posted back to Paya Lebar Air Base after 3 more weeks.
It was raining heavily then... The sight was bad, the floors are flooded, what an arduous journey it was. But I guess its worth it.

Thursday: Woke up at 2.45am to waste time watching soccer. Woke up again at around 10? Left at 11. Reached AMK at around 11.50am. Went to eat lunch with Jacquelyn, Binghui and Yian. Yian's treat. :) Ate Arctic Fish and Chips. It comes in a set, with the coleslaw (which is a decoration to me), drink (sprite), dessert (some chocolate thing).

Supposed to meet my sec sch friends for movie at 1430 hrs. Bh, yian and jac decided to tag along and so we watched the movie "Battleship" together. It was a great movie in my opinion. I then went to play lan with Darren Tan, Zhenglin and Jefferson. But we went for dinner at Macdonalds first, before going to lan at the place I went on monday..
Oh, I would like to thank Jeff for treating me dinner. So I have saved lunch and dinner money today lol. Oh, we played Counter Strike and dota for the lan.

Oh, and I received an SMS from NUS, saying that my application status has been updated. So, I went online to check it out. It turns out that they have enrolled me in Computing (Computer Science) for the Academic Year 2014-2015. :):):)

Chapter 315: Block Leave Days

Finally a weekday where I am not in camp due to the Block Leave.
Monday: Went to eat lunch with my sis at 1320 hrs, where I just switched off my computer. We walked halfway and sudden realisation~~~ I was wearing slippers instead of sneakers, and I forgot my cap... but my sis forgot her jacket too.
So, we made a deal.

When my friends ask me why I am late, I will say cause my sis forgot her jacket, so we needed to head back to take. Thus, I'm late.
When her friends ask her why she is late, she will say cause I forgot my cap and I wore wrong shoe, so we needed to head back to take. Thus, she is late.

So we went to Rivervale Mall to eat lunch. While crossing the traffic lights at the junction, I saw Eugene crossing the road too. I said hi. Later then I realised we were meeting later for the Leopard Company PS3 Gathering...
So, I haven't had lunch yet and he is heading there already?! Damn, I will 100%, guarantee confirm plus chop, I will be late.
But let nature takes its course first... I will attempt to change nature's course later.

So, we ate Macdonalds. Then, I hurried over to Dhoby Ghaut via MRT. I reached at around 1450hrs when the meeting time is 1430hrs haha. Its ok since a few ppl havent reach yet... though majority were already there...

Since some people havent arrived, I took the opportunity to rush to the toilet.. But I didnt know where it was, so I ran one big round around Plaza Singapura to find the toilet...
We then headed to play lan. 3 dollars for 3 hours. Imba-ly cheap. haha.
We played various games, like dota, Team Fortress 2, Left 4 Dead 2.

We then headed to eat buffet at Kublai Khan Mongolian BBQ Restaurant. It costs a whoooping 28.40 for dinner buffet... But oh well..
Most things that I ate wasnt worth the price considering I dont eat much :X
So, I spammed Eclair! Damn nice it is :) I am like some Eclair monster hunting for Eclair and camping for restocks.

We then went home and that marks the end of the outing for Leopard Company, Platoon and Section 3.

Tuesday: Went out with my sis to play pool at Punggol. Won all 5 games within 1 hr 15 mins ++. haha. Thats all folks!

More activities to come I guess?

Chapter 314: POP

Woke up at around 0540 hrs. Set off at around 0600 hrs. Went to Promenade MRT, saw my classmates by coincidence? Went to meet up with Darren, and went to the Floating Platform to witness the Batch 01/12 Passing Out Parade.

They did a 24km route march which was tiring for them and make them smell..
Anyways, we watched the whole parade with Nich Khaw's relatives. During the Reviewing Officer's speech, she said they completed a 24 hour route march... but she realised the mistake and corrected it shortly after.. I think everyone will faint from a 24 hours route march... plain madness, alot of job for the medics to do if that is implemented haha.

The BMT cohort also did the BMTC Roar which looked damn funny, which we, PES C, people didnt get to do.
It was a very beautiful scene when they threw their jockey caps. Priceless picture.
We then went around taking photos with friends. It was difficult locating people in the sea of green, everyone just somehow look similar..

So I managed to take photos with Nich Khaw, Wei Ming, Desmond and Teck Chuan. Thats it I suppose. Others seem extremely elusive.

I then went to eat breakfast? with my JC friends. We ate at Toast Box. Somehow I see the "Ham and Cheese sandwich" as "Ham and Chicken sandwich" haha. Must be angle problem.

Then, I went home before heading to grandparents house in the afternoon.
Then, I went home to watch my first EPL match since enlistment :X
It was a 2-0 victory for Man Utd against Queen Park Rangers. :)
And later of the day was spent dota-ing with Jiesheng, Darren and Nich Khaw. Wonderful games with them. haha. Been long since such a great game I suppose.
Then, more good news came as Arsenal beat Man City 1-0. Now, the 8 points gap is simply awesome :) Nice looking EPL table haha.

Poor Darren has to suffer book in fate monday night.. no block leave for enlisting so late haha.

Meanwhile, its time to enjoy the block leave while it lasts~~

Chapter 313: POC

After days of training, it is finally the Passing Out Ceremony on Wednesday.
My parents and sis went to see me at Sembawang Camp for the Ceremony.
We, recruits, marched in and we were holding in senangdiri position for quite some time.. really tiring, especially when the speeches are so long... but it's worth it when we finally passed out, as privates.
We then marched back out and marched back in before our parents stepped forward to aid us in donning our berets. We then took the SAF pledge and sang the national anthemn before doing cheers and taking photos.
We then went back on Thursday to do area cleaning before heading home :)
And the block leave starts now! Muhahahaha!

Chapter 312: April's Fool Day

Happy April's Fool Day to all, beware!

Saturday: Went to Junction 8. Ate Pastamania with Yian, Jac, Joey, Jasmine. I ate Chicken Bolognese. We then went to Chengmei's house nearby (michelle, nwe and tc joined us at some point). We just chatted around and thats about it. Took some photos before heading over to Nex.

Went to Nex and went for dinner with Darren and Nich Khaw. We ate at some shop which I forgot what name. I ate fishball noodles. We then went to get some ice cream at Andersen's. We chose the flavour of the day, as it costs only 4 dollars, and there is free topping too. And we can get cream on it too for no cost. So we did all that.
The flavour was... hmm ... what was it.. I think its something called Choco Mocca ? or something of that effect. Cant really remember. As the name suggests, there is some coffee taste in it. And my topping was chocolate fudge. Chocolate fudge with cream is really damn nice. Overall, the icecream was very good.

We then went home after that.

Since its April's Fool Day, anyone that messages me "what time book in?" shall get the reply of "Today don't need to book in." Then I will wake up at 12 midnight to reply "Happy April's Fool Day by the way."

Anyways, passing out on Wed~~~

Soccer: Man City just drew with Sunderland. Great chance for Man Utd to go 5 points clear should they beat Blackburn away on Monday 3 am -.- What a timing, what a date.
