Here we come to the last week of BMT in Tekong. Had the privilege of booking out on a Tuesday, due to a NE Trail, which is a trip to Discovery Center. At the discovery center, we watched some videos about SAF of course. And many many more. We were then dismissed there... at the west... So, we had to strategise in order to get back to the East, Northeast to be exact, the best place in Singapore. So, Di Long, Eugene and I came up with the plan to cab home together.
However, Man proposes, God disposes. Cats and dogs started falling upon the floor. However, we utilised 1 of the 7 SAF core values, which is Fighting Spirit, in order to accomplish this mission of ours. Our plan was simple, yet highly effective. Withstand the rain and walk across as fast as possible. We then flagged down a taxi with much difficulty... and with our whole body wet already... Nevertheless, we succeeded and boarded the taxi.
We're heading for 2 destinations, or should i say 1 stop-over and 1 destination. Di Long lives in Buangkok, while Eugene and I live in Sengkang. So, the plan is that the fare from Discovery Center to Buangkok is to be paid by him. HAHA, and the fare from Buangkok to Sengkang is to be divided equally among Eugene and I. Pure win, sounds like a good plan.
Of course, it didnt turn out that way considering how nice people Eugene and I were. Especially me for sure. We ended up splitting the cost evenly a third each.
I'm sad that my hair is cut yesterday (Monday)... and now I will go to collect results on Friday with almost non-existent hair. Jockey cap needed for hair protection.
Results coming... scary...
Once Tekong BMT is over, I will be posted to unit and continue my BMT there... hopes and prays for a nice unit with awesome people too.. like my current section. Simply awesome is the best adjective to describe them.
As usual, details about training are not allowed to be posted. So, I will end here. Till Friday... Hope all will be well enough for me to get into a good University.

Chapter 305: NS Part 2
I shall briefly describe NS, since I'm not supposed to post about the training. Did live range and got 27/32 Threw live grenade Went 1.5 days field camp Ate section dinner at mac at Whitesands after bookout. Out processing to unit on thurs or fri. A level results on friday... damn scared and worried.
Lastly, went out with jc friends to eat Nandos @ Plaza Sing. Went out with sec sch friends to eat Shabu Sushi @ Hougang Mall. This is expensive stuffs... I think I would not want to try this again...

Chapter 304: NS
Army says that I cannot blog anything about NS... So my post has ended here.
Very happy about the first bookout today :D
Yeah, thats all, I really cant reveal anything. Bye. Now to enjoy limited civilian life before booking in and army life for 5 days... Till then.. my friends..

Chapter 303: THE FINAL POST
And here comes the final post before NS. Treasure it as the next post will come like after 2-3 weeks or even 1 month... so treasure every single word/letter you see here. They are precious like jades, just that you shouldnt and cannot pawn it.
Monday: Went to Bencoolen Street (This name is deeply etched in my mind because Mrs Chng corrected me in my essay haha) to pray at the Goddess of Mercy Temple. For NS of course. For good luck, for peace, for an easy time, for good people, for good superiors that love/dote/like/adore me for whatever reason (and that can include, but not limited to, cuteness, niceness, etc etc) Hope my prayers go answered. I will also do my best. I will live by this motto: Prepare for the worst, hope for the best.
At this time, some of my friends had already entered the army. They include: Nich Khaw, Binghui, Jefferson and TC. Desmond going in on Tuesday. Yian Wed, me thursday. Leong March. Good luck and all the best to them, including me.
No doubt I'm stressed for NS, but needa think positive... All should go and turn out fine...esp when I'm in PES C? Need to calm down...
Anyways, just packed around 70%? of my stuff for NS and leaving the rest for tmr.
Today, I went to NEX with Darren. To catch a movie. "We not naughty". And its another time for smuggling techniques as we smuggled biscuits and 2 cans of soft drinks in haha, with the aid of my cardigan. The movie was entertaining, and really funny. Nice. And guess what? It just costs 6 Dollars!!! Ok, thats because its a weekday LOL. We then went to look for Shili. We went all over NEX finding her.. but she was just outside Party World and we missed her blatantly... how did we do that? (Party world is next to the cinema)
Vanessa then came and we went to eat dinner together. We went to Pastamania to dine. I ate hawaiian pizza, my favourite pizza. Ate a chicken wing, drank sprite. We then chatted. We went to BaskinRobbins afterwards.. The store name looks familiar....oh! Malaysia! I saw that shop at a shopping centre during the trip to Malaysia when we went down to KL. We even played daidi there (Malaysia). So, Darren decided to treat me icecream as my NS gift LOL. 5 dollars. Thanks Darren for the icecream! :) We then cont our chat session at Mcdonalds before headin home respectively.
It costs 1.26 to travel from Rumbia to Serangoon :X Sianzzz... NS concession fares maybe will be better... Miss student price fares...
And yeah, this is the last post in NLZZtimes before NS. So every word here worth a million gold or even more! Hope to be 100% intact during my first bookout, and may all campmates be nice. Hopeful.
NS is the first time I am earning money LOL. And the pay is... 420 per month... very... haiz. Actually NS is a good distraction for A level results... I dont wish to think about A's...
Changing phone tmr, to a no camera, no data phone. so avoid whatsapp me, keep everything at SMS level, as my phone will not be on for most of the time... maybe only at night time... So do expect great delay if u wanna contact me by SMS.. Enlisting on 2nd Feb 2012. Till then...
