Chapter 302: Jacquelyn's House

At 1120, Binghui (bh) smsed me, asking to meet at compasspoint at 1130. He's like giving me 10 mins notice and I am supposed to rush down to compasspoint.. oh well.. so I quickly rushed into my room and changed clothes. In a rush to get there in time, I forgot to bring mandarin oranges along and I forgot to wet and comb my hair :X So, I went to the LRT and took 2 stops to Sengkang MRT/Compasspoint.

Bh reached slightly later and he walked straight to me. I couldnt recognise him initially and got a fright as I thought "what the hell is wrong with this guy, stand so close to me..." I only knew it was him when he spoke lol.. He had a haircut and a cap on, so I couldnt recognise him. He then lent me his cap in an attempt to push my hair down.. (my hair at the back likes to stand up for no reason...)

We travelled to Serangoon MRT, and then bh received a call from Samuel. So, Sam's dad is fetching us there, so we went out of the MRT gantry and waited at the bus stop. His van came to pick up after awhile and we headed for Jac's house.
Damn, only I didnt bring oranges... all thanks to bh's 10 mins advance notice -.-
So I just went to shake hands with Jac's dad and said Happy New Year.

Yian came shortly after. We had some snacks.

We then went to play blackjack. I didnt want to gamble after managing to give up gambling for quite some years... but I just played with them to avoid being a spoilsport. Peer pressure lol.
And thankfully, luck seems to be on my side. I started well with 21 points, blackjack, 5 cards, etc. Mostly winning hands. Oh, we take turns to be the dealer.
We played 50 cents each round.
Halfway through, bh took out his safety amulet to pray for victory LOL.
Sam followed suit and of course, so did I.
But bh keeps getting 15 points and he keeps opting out. His safety amulet must be used for "escaping purposes". So he should be able to escape from NS safely with the amulet he got.

In the end, I think I won around 4 dollars plus?

We then went on to play Mahjong. Without money. Which is good, as I really didnt want to gamble..
bh and sam then had to leave for another of their friend's house, so jac brought them out, while yian and I played 2-person-mahjong. After awhile, we gave up arranging the tiles and just pick tiles randomly from the pile of tiles.
Since there is only 2 people playing, we only allow big wins lol.
And indeed, we came up with 混一色, 七对子, 十三幺, etc etc. But yian won more times I think... I think he can memorise all the tiles thats why.

Nwe, TC, Pamelyn and Michelle then came and we continue playing Mahjong for awhile before going down for dinner.
We then played Indian Poker together.. with the crazy double dare forfeits... like 2 ppl biting a chocolate and 2 ppl's tongues reaching for the curry sauce ... which is gross... so no elaboration is necessary.
We then went home at 11pm. And thankfully, we managed to board the last Circle Line train....or we'll all be owned.

Wishing all guys good luck in their enlistments.. some people are enlisting tomorrow, all the best!
I have 4 more days to go... 2nd Feb is a day I wish would never ever come.

Chapter 301:

Went to Rivervale Plaza to apply for an ATM card for my savings acc, with my sis, before heading to the bus stop to wait for the bus. (duh) Took the bus and went down to Downtown East. Went to Fish & Co. and waited for my cousins to come.
When they finally do, we ordered 4 sets of Student's meal, which is fish and chips. And yes, I'm eating fish again, giving my sis face this time. haha.

We then went for bowling. Its my first time attempting bowling. What a great honour my cousins (and sis) is receiving. So, one of my cousins and my sis went to gather the 6 and 7 kg bowling balls to our side lol.. And we started playing. I started by feeding the ball to the gutters. My second try came..and again gutters. Somehow my ball refuses to travel straight...
I tried again for the third time. My score remains as 0. Epic Fail. Seriously.
Fourth try- I decided to heck it and attempt to follow the style that people normally used to bowl. The nice nice style!! 8 pins. And the follow up drew blank.
So everyone else was havin a double digit score at that time, while I stuck at 8 -.-

And so, I ended up last during the first round... with 39 points, what a disgrace ><
And we cont playing a second round, bringing forward the previous round scores with us. Despite the nice nice style that I found, I still couldnt manage to let the ball travel straight at times.. I even drew blanks or scored a mere 2 points (1 pin from each extreme side.) Damn fail ...
And so, I ended the second round with 53 points.. and the grand total is merely 92.. which is not even a 100... whats more it is from 2 rounds...

We then felt like playing pool. But the tables were scarce and the people were plenty. We went to eat something light before attempting to rent bikes to cycle. It was around 7, and the shop closes at 6. So, they decided to go for dinner.
I then decided to abandon them and rush all the way down to Bishan to meet my JC friends for a visit to Chengmei's(CM) house. I was already late at that time..

And so I took a bus to Pasir Ris, MRT to Paya Lebar (EW Line), MRT to Bishan (Circle line). Reached at around 8.. really sorry to make them wait for me..
We then took a bus to CM's house. We celebrated her bdae with a bdae cake and we played Monopoly Deal and daidi, before going home.

Before I end this post, ADULT FARE SUCKS. Draining my money like never before... Approx 1 dollar plus plus plus plus plus for each trip... zzz.

Chapter 300: Basketball

After much persuasion, much voice and saliva wasted, I had finally agreed to play Basketball with yian. That made yian the happiest person on the world for that few seconds.

So, we set to meet at 1.30pm at Woodlands MRT. At around 1230, I called, messaged Bing Hui (bh) but to no avail. So I set off on my own, walking down the streets (similar to walking to the bus stop during sec sch days.) Before the traffic lights turn green, I saw 161 at the traffic lights too... and the lights did not turn red.. So I cannot cross while the bus could after awhile... and there goes the bus.

Waited awhile (Iris says its 4 mins, but Iris cannot be trusted, it had scammed me and bh multiple times, to the extent we run for our bus at AJC last time.) Boarded the bus. And the bus actually reached Woodlands Regional Interchange in 20 minutes... Simply Stunning... and that made me reach at 1.20pm... Time to search for the MRT station.. Looked around, wandered around, jumped around, rolled around, and saw a sign that says "lift to MRT". Oh, so the MRT is on top of me. Now to hunt for an escalator.
After some tiring hunting, I found the escalator and went up. And now.. where is the gantry -.- So the hunt continues... Anyways, I am still early.. so I waited and waited. Then, one guy came to me and asked me if I know where "888 clinic was?". The first thought that came to my mind was "Don't ask me, I'm lost too."
So I told him, "I don't know."

Yian came shortly after, quite punctual. So we went to buy some H-TWO-O drinks. There is an offer, 2 going for $1.95. We bought 4. At the cashier, the monitor displayed around 4.90, which is the non-discounted price. The monitor later showed the discounted price of 3.90. Yian paid the cashier $4. The cashier waited. I waited. Yian waited. Everybody behind us waited. The whole world is waiting and nothing happens...
I then realised that the cashier might be waiting for more cash as she thought it is 4.90... so I pointed to the monitor and said "3.90 what." to yian. A beam of light struck on the cashier's head. Realisation. She apologised and gave yian the change.

We then went to seek out the location of the basketball court. We followed the MRT tracks, walked to Marsiling instead of Admiralty.. so we walked back.. early warmup I guess.

So we reached the bball court and TC has already reached. So we started playing "bullet". I dont really get it too. So we'll skip that.
Nwe came and we played match. I forgot who won or who lost. But that isnt that important. Bh then came later and we played match as well.
We also played "horse" and "ABC" etc etc.

And yian invented a game, which is to dribble to each of the basketball net and score a goal each. There were 5 of them. Timing was taken.
Yian completed around 1 minute.
I didnt know bh's timing.
I completed at 1:30:09. (mins/sec/msec?)
My second attempt was better at 1 min 17 secs.
So we played bball until 6 plus?

We then went to eat dinner at a foodcourt at Causeway Point. The place is familiar.. this was when I realised I'd been here several times when I was younger. (not that I'm very old now.) We then went home respectively.

Chapter 299: Cooking

Woke up early at 8.15am, got myself ready and set off for the LRT. It's another round of adult fare. Suddenly, I become more conscientious when travelling... should have toured around the whole MRT system before 31st Dec 2010.

Took LRT, then MRT to Hougang. I reached earlier than the stipulated timing of 9am. So I waited for Nich Khaw (nk) to appear. He did so around 9.05am.
We took the bus (forgot which number) to Darren (Leong)'s house.
But we didnt know his block number and thus couldnt locate it. Nk called Darren up, only to find him bathing. So, nk went to retrieve $ from ATM first.
We then called darren up again and he came to fetch us after awhile. We went to the Sheng Siong Supermarket nearby to shop for ingredients. Bought some stuffs. Got the lucky draw ticket/coupon/receipt (whatever u call it.) The draw will be made during the show.

We went to Darren's house shortly after. It was my first time cooking (excluding Home Economics lessons), so I require alot of pointers/tips/guidance.*
(*Delete where applicable)
My first lesson was on cutting open the package of Sausages... And it took some time, because it was hard to cut. According to nk, there is a lack of tension in the packaging..making cutting difficult.
Second lesson was on frying the sausage. Need to add oil... (I rmb adding too much oil during Home Econs last time by accident. I thought the teacher wont find out... but the first thing she said was "too oily".)
So I added oil and then I fried my sausage.
(detailed steps are not listed to prevent plagarism of the secret recipe.)
Third lesson was on how to beat an egg. Out of 8 (I think?) eggs, I only have 2 eggs with intact egg yolk after breaking the egg shell... the others were distorted egg yolks.. But it works well anyways... not as if I was making sunny side up. Or Darren would have killed me for wasting eggs haha.
I then beat the egg, fry it, and TADA! The scrambled eggs were the result.

While cooking, Darren kept reminding me and nk not to blow up his kitchen. I told him to buy some insurance so that gives us the right to blow his kitchen up.

NK did baked potato using the microwave and fried the fish.
He did the potato by wrapping it with aluminium foil before putting it into the oven. Frying fish requires alot of time.. so Darren and I went to watch TV programme while he continue frying his fish LOL.
After a long long while, nk was done and darren started preparing the dessert, which is some jelly with almond and peach (I think that is how to describe it..)

So, the end product is a fish, scrambled egg, sausage, baked potato, the dessert as described above, and Fanta Orange.
And in case u are wondering, no, we didnt brew the Fanta Orange drink. We just poured it out from a 1.5 litres bottle.

Main Course:

Dessert:

We made 3 portions of course, the picture only showed 1. And yes, that is our lunch!

Still have a lingering thought?

Yes, I ate the fish.
I gave nk alot alot alot of face. What a good friend I am, ain't I?

Chapter 298: Chinese New Year

Wishing everyone a Happy and Prosperous Chinese New Year!
Have a wonderful/great dragon year ahead!

On the eve of CNY, it is time to 守岁! Before that, its time for EPL!
It is a good start to the New Year where the Red Devils (Man Utd) beat Arsenal away 2-1, from goals from Valencia and Welbeck.
I slept at 5am due to 守岁, while waiting for my dad's download to complete. What a filial son I am I know, now my parents will live longer! Muhahahaha.

On the first day of CNY, I woke up quite late... around 1230 hrs.. thanks to the 守岁 process last night haha. Reached maternal grandparents hse at around 2?
Red Packets flow in of course. Went to eat lunch then.
We then went to play Monopoly Deal. And I cant remember what happen... but we left for paternal grandparents place after a rich time collecting Hongbaos :)

Reached paternal grandparents place shortly after and more hongbaos!!!
My grandfather dotes me, knowing that I'm going to NS this year, he gave me a really fat red packet... much fatter than my sis's one :)
He knew that I need $2 for haircut in the army and so I got 5 $2 notes in that red packet... plus some $10 in there (which I will not reveal how many.)
My sis is filled with envy, wow, I'm surprised and happy for having a great grandfather.

One of my cousins then went out with me and my family to Changi Airport T3.
Second time there FYI.
so, my cousin fetched me in his car (so I can entertain him), while my sis and mum rode on my dad's car there.
Went to T1 through the skytrain (I love to ride on it when I'm young. Well, that doesnt mean I'm old now, I'm still relatively young :D )
Went to dine at Astons.. and the most funny thing we're being told is that the Coffee machine just broke down.... epic.
My cousin is very knowledgeable about planes.. until he could name me each respective planes we saw...
We deliberately spent more than 50 dollars, so that my cousin could get the Angry Bird for his mum (or my aunt, or my dad's sister)

We then headed to Junction 8 for movie. We watched the show "The Viral Factor" a.k.a. "逆战". A show which starred Nicholas................
...
...
Tse
and Jay Chou!!!
An interesting action film. Nice to watch. The movie set at Malaysia, and they spoke several tongues like English, Chinese, Cantonese, Malay.

We then went back to grandparents hse as my mum forgot to take her phone charger with her while leaving... So, I went up to retrieve the charger and her phone before going home with parents.

---

The next day CNY day 2. We went to maternal grandparents hse and we played lots of games together ("we" refers to cousins.)
We played games like "Monopoly Deal","Daidi","Bridge","Ah Zhap","Cheat".
It's really alot of fun together.

My grandmother spoke to me in Hokkien, and I could barely understand/speak. So I did my best in answering. She asked me if I wanted fish... I told her that fish is not nice LOL.
Then I don't know what she is saying already ... Hokkien too chim for my tiny brain to understand.

We spent majority of the day at grandparents hse basically.
Of course, the other relatives gambled.. but I somehow quitted gambling since a few years back. Gambling is bad as losing money is easier than winning. And thus it is not a wise choice.

9 more days to NS... sian...

Got a rather packed schedule this week... so expect more updates I guess?

Chapter 297:

Experienced the single beep sound on the EZ-link reader for the first time since 18+ years, and on the way to AMK Hub. It costs around 1.40 for the first time.. a more than 100% price hike due to the loss of the student status.
Reached way earlier than the stipulated time, went up to the level 4 Cinema and waited. Called Jeff up and found out that he'll be late, and I'm to meet Liang Xing (lx) and Junyong (jy) first. So I waited and waited for around 15 mins before they turned up.
We discussed awhile before deciding to watch the movie "Contraband" A M18 movie.
We went down to find a place to eat. After some discussion, we settled for Mos Burger.
And we waited for Jeff to come. We then proceeded to play pool first before the movie.
It's the first time we got checked by the police, who took down our NRIC, name and address as a routine check, at the pool place.
Pool was quite fun.. with some wins and losses of course.

We then went to queue up for popcorns at around 3.30pm.
Entered at around 4, though the movie starts at 3.50pm.
The show was ok to me, and I was impressed by the imbalanced world class smuggling in there, lol.

We then went to eat dinner at New York, before heading to a shop selling games. We didnt buy anything though, and we went home after that... to experience another adult fare...

The next day, I went to Far East with my family, as my sis needs to purchase clothing. We ate at Graffiti Cafe.. where vandalism is legal? Ate Wanton noodles.
Went back home to watch some movies via starhub cable TV.
Then went for dinner at KFC. CNY is great as it is the only time where parents want to eat fast food without complaints. :)

Anyways, CNY is up tomorrow, wishing everyone a Happy and Prosperous Chinese New Year 2012, have a great Dragon Year ahead! Watch out for the next post on CNY :D

Chapter 296: Genting Highlands

I forgot to SMS my friends before the Genting trip that I will be overseas and not to pop my phone with SMS... So for those who really did pop up with a SMS, rest assured, your SMS had travelled successfully across the causeway, across the customs, and more importantly, all the way up ... high up... until Genting Highlands, in other words, your SMS have travelled miles after miles, gone through a horrendous and tiring journey before reaching me at Malaysia from Singapore.
I apologise as that is considered as an overseas SMS... your phone bill will remind you of it...

And I forgot to tell my sis to help me mousehunt... gosh...

The night before the Genting trip, Jac, Yian and I went over to Binghui's house for sleepover.
Nothing much as we headed for Compasspoint the next morning. At 5 plus...
And reached Compasspoint around the same time.

Really glad the pickup point is close and convenient for bh and me.
As for the rest, they had to go through a tough morning journey to Compasspoint. And that means catching the earliest bus rides, mrt rides, or cabbing.

We were given white cards by the "Five Star Tour Bus" staff, and we filled it in inside the bus. Before we finished filling in, the bus started moving and the lights have changed from white lights to blue lights... This makes everything looks blue... In scientific terms, we call this the "pseudo-colour blindness". Thanks to the blue lights and shaking bus (from travelling), the difficulty of filling in the white card has been raised tremendously (in more exaggerating terms, exponentially).I helped yian to fill his, orelse his white card will be unreadable due to his handwriting (which is already bad normally).
Initially, Yian wrote some particulars wrongly. So I had to ask Teck Chuan (tc) for another white card. I said, "TC, Yian wrote wrongly for his white card, so we need 1 more. Normally, he can cancel but now cannot." (He cancels messily normally which drew anger from our GP tutor.)

So, we travelled across the Singapore Customs. Electronic powered machines make the passing fast and convenient. However, yian's passport is the old kind and he has to rely on the manual one. We then passed Malaysia's custom and got a chop each on our passports.
We then headed back for the bus. This bus is the best I have ever come across. The ability to watch TV/play games, adjust seats, wide space.. just like the advertisement long time ago about "Five star tours". Very nice.
The only concern is that not all of them are in perfect working order. Some earphones don't work, some only have 1 side working, etc.

After a long journey, we finally arrived at Genting Highlands at around 1pm.
We then proceeded to check in.. which took 1 million light years and it is still pending...
In the end, they just gave us a temporary room to hold the 10 of us.
(Btw, this Genting trip is a 17/10 outing which 10 people attended.)
So we camped at the temporary room, playing cards, while waiting for our "real" rooms to be prepared. We waited long hours, calling to check in between, and it takes eternity, before we finally got our finalised rooms at late afternoon.

We didnt do much on the first day. Just ate lunch, ate dinner, played pool and went K.
Pool was ok for me, only that luck seems abit down on me, and bh was very unlucky.
I can sense that bh is a pro in it but his luck is going against him.
Went to sing K after pool. My voice suck alot over the microphone...

We then went to sleep.

NOTE: Some details might be missed out/ vague/wrong, as I cannot remember everything perfectly. One thing to be sure is that we played cards alot during the trip.

Second day.
Ate Mcdonalds for breakfast (I hope I dont remember the fast food restaurant wrongly.) Then, we went to queue up, waiting for the ticket counter to the Theme Park to open.. before purchasing tickets.
The pass/ticket cost(s) RM66 for 1 day, all rides (including both indoor and outdoor theme parks, but excluding cyberworld items)

Our first ride was a ride around something like the "haunted house" and with sharp turns before about-to-bang-into-the-walls-situation.
I also made a breakthrough in my life history as I embarked on the Viking Ship/Pirate Ship.
The ship has been my fear since young... and I finally completed a Viking Ship ride :)
Further breakthroughs are made as I rode the "Flying Coaster" (a ride that turns 360 degrees... something I cant imagine I would ride one day.) and the Roller Coaster.
Also rode in some other rides like bumper boat, bumper car, flying dragon, etc etc.
The only thing that I didnt want to try was the Space Shot... which is a ride that brings you 185 feet above ground... and then it will drop down.. like a lift that is freefalling at 67kmh... which deters me as I don't want my heart to drop out.

Basically, we spent most of the day in the Theme Park (outdoors in morning-afternoon, indoors in night)
Bumper Car was funny as bh, yian and I all ganged up to attack Jac's car.
We just went in one after another or together.

There is also a 4D movie for the indoor ride. It requires wearing of the 3D glasses. The seats will also move during the ride, in order to make the movie more realistic.. quite real I must say.

Third Day. We went down to KL (Kuala Lumpur). Went to Titiwanga station by bus, before changing to take the KL Monorail to Bukit Bintang for shopping.
We went to eat lunch at a store which allow you to choose your own dishes (like the mixed vegetable rice) The only weird thing is that you serve yourself, you choose the amount to take for each dish.. and like how we know how much constitutes one serving...
If we take too much, we get charged higher...
If we take too little, we feel scammed.

We then went round shopping. I went around looking for a shirt for CNY. After much viewing, I bought a shirt which bh recommended me to. And through this, they have learnt that I don't like stripes on my clothing.. and checkered is worse.

Well, I shall skip some/most eating and playing card details as they are difficult to remember and are of high frequency.
We then went to eat at A&W. The staff gave me a root beer that is almost to the brim... the worst thing is that I have to balance it on my tray and go up a flight of stairs.... In the end, my serviette changed colour from white to brown... (from root beer).
We then took photo inside.. which is weird.. if u imagine taking group photo inside a fast food restaurant ...
We then went back to Genting Highlands. How we go back is opposite of how we came.

I then tried on bh's clothing as he said they might look good on me.. so I did and...

Looks good.

We planned to not sleep as it is the last day.. but we failed as we were too tired...

On the last day, we packed and left the hotel at 12 noon. Ate pizza and went to take bus back at 2.10pm. At the resting station of Yong Peng, we ate a Vegetarian meal for 10 pax, as we have 3 vegetarians amongst us. It was quite ok to me.
We then left for Singapore.

And reaching home is of walking distance for bh and me. Sad for the rest who didnt choose to live on the best place on Earth.

And that concludes the Genting Trip. Great time spent with 17/10 :)
Photos are on Facebook if necessary.

Chapter 295: Luck

I always believed that everyone possess equal amounts of luck, and the bad luck will always be balanced by an equivalent amount of good luck.

Whenever I receive some bad luck, I will tell myself that good luck is coming my way.
An old saying goes: "雨过天晴" which supports my above argument.

But the olden day scholars did not realise that "晴过天雨" is true too.
After receiving good luck, I am very very very very very worried that bad luck is coming my way ...

That explains why Man Utd suffered 2 consecutive defeats.
The first defeat was after imbalanced and overpowering luck I received during my pool game in the afternoon...
The second defeat was after me getting first in Mousehunt Tournament...

Well, this is a good way to console myself lol.

Haiz, they still said that they will definitely bounce back from their defeat to Blackburn.
The defeat to Blackburn is where they are at the ground, and they wanted to bounce up.
And they forgot.
What comes up must go down.
So they bounced back to the ground, to rock bottom, when they meet Newcastle, and suffer another 3-0 defeat.

---

Sometimes when I finished my meal outdoors, the staff will come and ask "Do you still want it?"
It sounds weird ... cause there is nothing left on the plate. If I still wanted it, do I have to eat the plate as well... or the cutleries.
Shouldnt the correct thing to say be "Can I clear your plate?"

---

TIP OF THE DAY

The proverb "You cannot make a crab walk straight" is actually wrong.
It can, if you intoxicate it.

Chapter 294: Happy New Year

Initially, I thought of another name for the title of this chapter. But the "End of the World Year" sounds terribly negative thinking and pessimistic for an amazing site like this. So I decided to go for the positive thinking. Always look on the bright side of life.

I just realised that I forgot to put something into my previous chapter, it was a mistake on my part. I forgot to say that please do not think that dhl is the one for delivers items... and it does not stand for "deliver halfway lost".

Woke up early in the morning and is unable to fall asleep again... argh.
Went out around morning time.
Sitting at the bus stop, waiting for my bus (duh).
Suddenly, a car drove past me. Looks familiar, havent I seen that car before? Looks at the carplate. Even more familiar... oh! It's my dad's car. Silly me.

After awhile, the bus came. Went to AMK. Darren Tan (DT) and Jeff(erson) came shortly after. We decided to have lunch while waiting for Zhenglin (EZL). So we dined at the Kopitiam at AMK Hub. Unlike other Singaporeans, we did not use tissue paper to "chope" seats, we utilised human resource for this purpose.

It was then I realised that the supposedly 402 guys class outing turned out to be a failure... 4 people -.- Best.
So EZL came shortly after. After lunch, we headed to purchase movie tickets. We wanted to catch the show "Turning Point, Laughing Gor Returns." at 5pm. DT flashed his passion card and it costs us 7 each for the tickets, and we get 2 free popcorns (which is terribly small when we collected later on...)

So we went to play pool first at AMK. I was unusually lucky as I played quite well (unlike the norm). EZL left at some point to collect cheque for his merit bursary award thing. The 3 of us continued, then went on to play lan using the remaining time. We played "Left 4 Dead 2". A game that I do not have on my home comp and exclusively for lan to me. At around 4.30pm, a call from EZL came to DT.

It was then we realised... we've been tricked! The movie tickets are for 2.55pm and NOT 5pm... We then checked the movie title, thankfully it is correct. So we headed down to Cathay (AMK) to ask if we could get a refund or exchange for the 5pm one. EZL came, and we managed to get an exchange for the 5pm movie. There was still some bit of time to spare.
So, we went down to Old Chang Kee. I bought Curry Puff.
Then EZL and DT bought some herbal tea from another store.

We then went back to AMK Hub for the movie. The concept and the plot of the show was good. The ending is abit weird. And its NC16 for the violence content.

We then went to continue our "Left 4 dead 2" game with EZL too. We then headed for Macdonalds for dinner. So, our last dinner in 2011 is at Macs, with one another. lol.
We chatted awhile. Jeff left first. We then watched abit of the Man Utd vs Blackburn game. When we left, it was 0-0. On the way home, I checked soccernet through my iphone and saw 0-1 via penalty -.-

And now the EZ-link card will only beep once and adult fares ...

I then went home and further watched Man Utd lose 2-3 to Blackburn. What the .... (the preceding word is censored for vulgar content)
Unbelievable. De Gea sucks, he should have picked Lindegaard...
Shocking is an understatement.
What a spoiler for the New Year...

Then proceeded to watch the Taipei Countdown Event on TV (starhub). Then, I went to the windows to look at the fireworks. To look at the fruits of my dad's labour.

I then went back to finish the rest of the show before going to bathe lol.

And in case your mind is still pondering over the end of the world, fear not. It only happens on the 21st December 2012... You still have around 354 days more to live, eh no, its 355 since 2012 is a leap year. Oh, speaking of leap year... its bad.. need to serve army for 1 more day!!! Unfair! Protest!

Ok just kidding, you should not fear because...

Jay Chou says so.

Enjoy!

NLZZ Co. Pte. Ltd. hereby wishes all viewers of this site a Happy New Year 2012! May the World survive!
