Chapter 119

This post should be relatively long i think, so sit back and enjoy and relax.
Oh i forgot to say, don't miss me too much! I've been busy this week coping with the tests...

Section 1: Mafia Wars

Ok, i know this is odd. I play this game for fun and for the sake of it -.- Am level 400 now! lol.

Section 2: Economics

I'm gonna show u a fun thing i've proved using mathematics, no fear, i'm not doing an analysis on some economics thing :D
We're learning price elasticity demand and supply now. So i've constructed the following eqn:

Using GC, INELASTIC = 0
ELASTIC = 0
therefore, INELASTIC = ELASTIC (proven)

Section 3: Asymptotes

Credits to my master, Matthew for this.
He drew a curve with asymptotes. He drew a man there with a speech bubble. The speech says this "u shall not pass!" ownt.

What is the function of an appendix?

If your answer is that scientists have not found any known function for it, then i must say that...

YOU ARE WRONG!

For i discovered a function of the appendix!

Section 5: Venus flytrap

Cool title? Nah, not talking about mousehunt's venus mousetrap. Yesterday in LRT, Binghui with me.
A boy said "ah ma, i want a venus flytrap."
Both of us are stunned.
Binghui said "the ah ma will end up buying a money tree and tell him that it is a venus flytrap."
"when he ask where is the mouth thing that eat insect, she will say havent grow out yet."

LOL. It's just strange that kids want to buy venus flytrap -.-

Section 6: Bio SPA

yesterday during bio spa, we were asked to find out the effect of lead nitrate on plants. And how is lead harmful to the plant. Matthew said that "eating lead can make you become a leader."

Get it?
Lead-er. (people who run is runner. people who swim is swimmer, so people who eat lead is... you get what i mean)

Section 7: Tests

As mentioned, there are lots test this week, busy week, costs lots of comp time :(
Chem test was freaking difficult
Bio was ok
Maths abit hard. Not much confidence though..

Section 8: Multitask

I just found out from my cca instructor that multitasking with the computer isnt really multitasking. The computer does every task separately, bit by bit BUT at a very fast rate, so it seems to occur concurrently, but in actual fact, it is not. Well, just some fun facts!

Chapter 118

Section 1: Soccer

Man Utd 3-1 Tottenham. Giggs scored first via penalty after evra was brought down. Ledly King equalised 1-1. Nani scored by chipping the ball over the gk. 2-1. Giggs scored second penalty after nani was brought down. 3-1. Victory. 2 points ahead of Chelsea but chelsea has 1 game in hand.
GO MAN UTD! The title is within reach as long as chelsea flops up and man utd win at sunderland and stoke! Woots, im happy!

Section 2: The big day

Just a gentle reminder. 7 more days to the big day of the universe. The most important day on Earth among the 365 days!

Section 3: Dota

Played pub. Won 4 games straight before losing the last one... and ofc there were all leavers in the 4 games we won :X Oh, was pubbing with nk and darren leong. In the last match, the antimage was an ally, he mh, but he is a noob -.-
He said we keep ks him when his assist was a freaking 5 -.-
He manages to ping on the fog, and identify correct enemy heroes.
He manages to ping the correct rune, w/o anyone near there.
He manages to detect people at roshan.
He manages to ping repeatedly and saying the correct hero name out.
Isnt that guy maphacking? it must be.
BUT he's a noob, so we lost :X
Hmmm ok la, my lion was outplayed by lina at mid lane :X

Section 4: Mousehunt

Forgot to say that i caught 2 master of dojos in a row! And those were my FIRST TWO HUNTS at the pinnacle chamber. So, i ran off after that wif 10 rumble to spare, afraid of missing/breaking the streak LOL. What cowardly move you must say...

Chapter 117

Section 1: Project Work

No worries, no more mentioning of "amalgamation" and "alternative", although i just did :X
It was after chem lecture at LT4, thinking the PW lect was at audi, matthew, junfeng, yi an and i went out and we went to the audi! Things dont look right... later we found out that the lecture was at LT4 -.- So we went all the way back... It's embarrasing..Ahh the best thing is no classmate told us when we were exiting the LT4 -.-

1 more thing. The lecture talked about getting evidence from reliable sources. No, i'm not going to talk abt people asking professors if they are reliable or not.. neither the fact that the teacher said that wiki is unreliable cos any person can just edit it.. I'm going to focus on reliable sources. What sources are reliable? What Else? IT MUST BE NLZZ TIMES! Its 100% reliable and safe to trust for use in your project work :D

Section 2: Yi An got owned

Nice title, its a joke said by my classmate, nvm if you dont know who yi an is. He is a person, thats all u have to know. The rest depends on your inference skills :D

The joke goes like this: We are walking in the rain. The thunder comes. Junfeng gets hit first, followed by matthew, then bing hui, then the grass, then yi an.

Section 3: Locker

It's just hilarious how the guys got fed up with the lockers. It's damn hard to open.. the instructions req u to turn the lock clockwise for X times to number X then anticlockwise etc etc.. So they tried as its the first time they tried to unlock the locker. After multiple attempts, they succeeded lol.

Chapter 116

Section 1: Soccer

Man City 0-1 Man Utd! Yay, although the chances of lifting the title is not nice, its always good to win! Just hopes that chelsea goes crashing down...
And a second place is good as well... its a position that is FIRST runners up.

Section 2: The important day

Exactly 14 more days to the big day! It's a really impt, memorable and unforgettable day! Its a legendary day to be commemorated. That's a really grand day. That day is more than just plain labour day and more grand than any event u could think of.

Section 3: Circle Line
Ya, circle line is open, less travel time if there is a need to travel to the east-west line :D

Section 2: Mousehunt

Currently at 87% grandmaster. Cant wait to reach legendary rank and craft the ambush! I want my first master of the dojo asap! :D

Section 3: Project Work Lecture

It was a talk by someone from the NLB. The speaker is interesting and funny, unlike what i imagined him to be. I expected a boring guy talking about diff types of resources gaining, books, etc. BUT i was proved wrong as he is entertaining.

However, when i got the feedback form, i felt like tearing the paper. Guess why?
Cause its title ACJC-NLB Feedback Form -.- Which makes me feel abit pissed lol.
So i used the correction tape to liquid away the "C". LOL.

Oh, there was this riddle i found from both facebook and told by the PW speaker today.
What is the word that starts with the letter "F" and ends with the letters "uck"? (Note: As mentioned before, NLZZ CO. Pte. Ltd. is a reputatable and recognised company and will not tolerate any vulgarities, so relax.)

Chapter 114

Section 1: Amalgamation and Alternative

These are the 2 words that went famous overnight. These are the topics available for PW.
We can actually apply it on the context of project work. :D
We can choose to do ALTERNATIVE, which is to choose to do the topic of amalgamation or the topic on alternative.
We can also choose to do amalgamation, which means do both the topics amalgamation and alternatives :D
LOL.
Just finished my first draft of Preliminary Ideas on PW.

Section 2: Economics Lesson

During Econs, the teacher was teaching us how to write essays. So she said that we must understand the difference between the words "compare", "distinguish", etc.
For distinguish, the teacher wants us to distinguish between nicholas (which is me in case you don't know, but if you dont know, i wonder what are you doing here -.-) and josh.
So the class started saying that josh spills mango on his pants! but i dont! LOL. FYI: Josh spilled his mango drink TWICE already to date, and still counting...

Also, my grp are to elaborate on the point Govt policies for factors of demand. My ideas are: "Add COE to mobile phones, decrease demand." and "during sars period, the govt quarantine people, thus the demand for mobile phones increase." Imba ideas right?, haha i know, thanks.

Section 3: EPL

Man Utd drew with blackburn 0-0. This should mark the end of title hopes... how sad...

Section 5:

Section 5 will conclude this chapter after seeing the sign "Went fishing." outside section 4's house.

Chapter 113

Section 1: Thursday

As usual, went to sch. First period was Chinese. And we had 听写. Yes, there is no absolutely problems with your eyesight. It is perfectly fine. WE HAD 听写!!! Which is spelling for chinese -.- Retarded. Nevertheless, 10/10 :D
Oh and our grp ppl sat at the back, stealing another grp's seats. Obviously, they complained.. Then the teacher complained that the ppl at the back (my group) doesn't seem to be paying attention. So, that group said that we are supposed to be infront instead. Then Junfeng, forever pawning ppl with his words, said this: "老师，他们以前坐在后面也是这样的，现在我们换位是要给他们机会专心听课。“ The teacher simply said this:”你们再吵，我就要你们在前面坐一排。“ By the way, they are joking down here, no hard feelings or offence detected.
Next up was PE. Ran 2 rounds warm up as usual. then followed by 3 sets of 2 rounds within 4 mins 10 secs per set. (800m within 4 mins 10 secs, to complete 2.4km) Between each set is a short break. Nevertheless, i managed to keep in with the timing. Then did 3 sets of 6 pull ups. And before you get stunned or shocked out of your whole life, the pull ups are did with people supportin your back -.- LOL.
Darren is nice to help me buy drink while i go and do my 15 dips (i hope i dint spell it wrongly.)
Then changed and went for GP. The teacher said that some stuffs been going round letter boxes condemning PAP around sengkang area. She asked who lived in sengkang. Bing Hui and me raised our hands. She asked if we're the culprit LOL. Obviously no, we're both nice and shy people.
But she said she would applaud the person who did it -.- Speechless.
Oh, and Bing Hui keeps mentioning that all the cool people live in Sengkang. For that i agree to the fullest extent!
People around me always feel cold cause im around and im cool! People around my master, Matthew, always feel hot, cause he is around and he's hot!
Next up we had civics. Some vid on International Friendship Day.
Then here comes the period that is taken by everybody, break.
After that was maths. Nothing special.

Then we went to play basketball. I suck at it so i shall avoid going into details of the game...
Then we went to AMK, to buy bubble tea from KOI. I bought milk tea, no pearl, full sugar(100%). Cause i dont eat pearls, incase you're wondering why..
Walked awhile in AMK Hub before heading back to sch.

By the way this whole part took around 2.5-3 hrs...
By the time its 5.30, and its make up civics -.- It's makeup as some ppl didnt bring the ecareer forms on previous day. So it lasts about 20 mins -.- And we're dismissed. To summarise, we waited 3 hrs for a 20 mins civics lesson... you know what i mean and i'm sure you can predict my feelings -.-
Then i went home via bus 86 with Bing Hui.

Section 2: Taupok

Toh Yi An just got taupok today at 1142! by junfeng, matthew, bing hui and me! (i cant rmb if josh is there or not...) LOL. And later we knew that chengmei got a shock at the sight of it... cause she never see taupok before.. as she's from a girls sch. Somehow hilarious lol.

Section 3: Recap
Somehow, i forgotten something that is meant to be at some post previously.. which occured during tuesday bio spa lesson. I dropped the test tube, attempted to catch it with my hand but failed. Instead, i cushioned it with my shoe, tried to catch it again but failed again and the test tube dropped to the floor... due to the contact with my shoe, it DIDNT BREAK. Its perfectly fine, in square one! Skillz.

Chapter 112

Section 1: I and E Day

Today is I & E Day for AJC. In this day, lessons are removed! And replaced with activities that are related to subjects. As such, we might even go to do activities for subjects that we do not take at all. But fortunately enough, all the activities i did was related to the subjects i took.
Beginning with GP. Its a video. About Frank, its a funny and hilarious video and the speaker is funny and humourous too. We werent told the title of the video :X So i couldnt cont watching it. Neither can i find it in youtube. So... its a pity that it cannot be shared!
Next up was break.
Next was Econs! Its a fun activity. We are divided into groups of 5. We are supposed to be countries, 2 low income, 1 mid and 2 high income countries. We drew lots and i had the honour to do the job, be the man, do the right thing!
I drew the middle income country, which was claimed as the best draw! So we have 2 rulers, 2 markers, 2 newspapers and 300 dollars. (low income has more newspaper, no ruler.)(High income has compass! scissors maybe there is protractor, im not sure. But they have 1 newspaper only)
So the game begins. We have to make "goods" from newspapers and sell for money. A rectangle with given dimensions for 100 bucks, non-right-angled triangle for 300, circle for 400.
We kept making rectangle as the triangle is not do-able and circle is impossible without protractor and scissors, unlike u have imba tearing skills and imba perfect circle drawing skills with freehand!
Ppl wanted to trade with us, but my grp refused as they claim to be north korea and refused trading. But in the end, we still sold one of our ruler for newspapers.
Ppl started pleading with us. Once, ppl pleaded with me and i jus said, "I'm just a worker. Please speak to my employer."
The most epic part is that we had the LOWEST income at the end of the game wif 2k only -.- But we're happy cause we're "North Korea". -.-
Next up was BREAK AGAIN! Ate 炸酱面 Well, im not really sure what is that, so avoid asking me -.-
Next up was BIO. Watched a forensic science vid. Got into groups and we named our grp North Korea once again -.- LOL. Played Forensic Bingo and Josh picked up the victory for our grp by BINGOING! Got sweets!
Then Mr Su asked us questions and we're supposed to answer. Grp with most points win. And guess what? We WON AGAIN and we defeated "South Korea" LOL.
So we won lollipops and when mr su came to give us the lollipops, he saw a masterpiece by our junfeng! He made a word with the chips used to play bingo. And that word is "FXXX XXX"
He saw and gived the sian-ed look and said how could he give us the prize if we build that word... lol. But we managed to persuade him wif our holy persuasion skills to giv us the lollipops :D Oh, btw, we destroyed the words soon after.
(In case you are wondering, NLZZ Co. Pte. Ltd. is a highly recognised and reputatable organisation, as such vulgarities are strictly omitted here, that explains the need for censorship.)
Exiting, we saw an outline of human drawn by chalk. (You see it whenever ppl die and the outline of the body is drawn on the floor using chalk). Binghui went to lie down on it, and photo taken. This could be submitted for the moment for IHPC. (Inter House Photo Competition)
Next up we had PE. Beep Test. As im lazy to explain what a beep test is, i will just give u the link that explains it: Click HERE

I got level 9.8. Quite ok score i think. My legs are hurting due to PE from monday!
Then we took photos. That marks the end of the day.

In case you didnt catch the word, lemme repeat it once more, just this once more, and no more, if you miss it, you miss it, just too bad for you, although you could always scroll up to read it again -.- The word is "amalgamation".

Chapter 111

Section 1: Monday

First of all, i apologise to those ppl who missed me much on monday 5 Apr as i couldnt go online due to homework -.- I decided to change the blog to this template, classifications into sections so you can ignore those parts you dislike, consider boring or have no idea what on earth is that.
Chem Lecture as usual, the same old lecturing..
Econs Tutorial i cant really recall what happened -.-
Chem Tutorial nothing special
GP Lecture was on Summary Skills. It's a pain to try very hard not to lift words and rephrase, restructure everything.. especially when you understand only 10-40% of the text meaning.
Maths Lect on Series and Sequences. Which is the topic im supposed to do oral presentation on. To be exact, im doing on summation. I'm not really sure whats that..
PW Tut - as usual, amalgamation, alternatives.
Bio Tut - i cant rmb already...
Maths Tut- normal
Horrifyin as usual, monday is horrendously a long tiring day. Adding homework to the pile sums up one word - fatality!
PE was last period. 2 rounds warm up (400m per round)
Skip 200 times. I suck at skipping. Seriously. Skipping sucks.. Nevertheless i completed it.
Ran 6 rounds, dashed at the last round and junfeng scolded me -.- as i was behind him all the while and suddenly sprinted to overtake him at the last lap. LOL.

Section 2: Tuesday

Which is today! Chem Lab. In other words, SPA. Did titration. My paper is nicely covered with yellow traces of sulphuric acid?
Next was civics. Which got cancelled as minority didnt do and print the ecareers thing. So its postponed to Thursday -.- Haiz.
Chinese lesson. The teacher wanted us to read the words, only the important ones, like those in pri sch textbooks where there are some impt words placed in a box. Then u got to write 习字 that kind of words.. but we dont need to write them, we merely read. We read alternately, 1st word by girls, 2nd by guys, and so on... The guys keep laughing when reading the word 嗫嚅. There is a reason behind it. Go figure if you are bored! See, I gave u smth to do to kill boredom, how nice of me ;D
Chem Lect follows. Here, i bring back my quote from chapter 105, "The real purpose of a lecture is to test students' ability to stay awake in times of boredom and sleepiness."
And guess what? I succeeded! I didnt feel like dozing off at all. Looking behind and beside me, people are already sleeping away!!! With their eyes closed, wandering happily in their lala land! Thus, i passed lecture!
PW - nothing special.
Bio Lab- Did the catalysis of hydrogen peroxide,which is corrosive, so we gt to wear gloves and goggles. After the expt, I borrowed yi an's paper as REFERENCE to do my SPA questions. Junfeng exclaimed,"Nicholas, as a model student, how could you copy answers?!!?" Thats not the most interesting part yet. The best is yet to come! Mr Su was nearby -.- And he walked up to me and said, " Ya, nicholas. As a model student, how can you copy answers?" Btw, he was smiling at that moment. I was stunned. Since when did i become a model student -.-
Then matthew and junfeng filled up their gloves with water, so it looks like inflated gloves. And they use it to point middle finger -.- LOL.

Chapter 110: April Fool Day

Hmm nothing much for today actually.. not much april fool jokes. Errr... wait a minute... is there even any april fool jokes? Is there even one? Hmm.. maybe not..

Ok, i just disconnected from a dota game that is winning -.- 2 raxes were down already and we were like pawning the scourge like nobody's business... It was a pub match. I was the host. So the windows update owned me totally. Auto restarted the computer and everyone disconnected too -.- What a pity.

On topic: Sch as usual, PE was okay, not very tired. Then the day just past normally.

Oh ya! And junfeng recorded a video of matthew dancing to a song and later he took off his shirt -.- LOL. Then it was shown to the guys and later ... few girls and all turned away, disgusted, when they saw matthew taking off his pe shirt -.- It's funny. If you want to watch the video, go find junfeng! If you don't know him, well... just abort the idea.

After school, nk told me that he is coming to ajc -.-
So i went out and looked for him.
Found him and we chatted.
Waited and waited for people to come out.
01 ppl come out but thats not the focus.

So, after waiting, nk, desmond, vanessa, priscilla, james and me went to NYP to eat. We went to kofu. I pondered awhile before deciding to eat chicken cutlet rice. Darren Leong came in later from sch as he had council stuffs to attend to just now.
So we chatted.
After that, we went home. Nk's cousin, Benedict, came. And we went home via MRT. Also chatted.

Hmm... there's nothing much to say here and i dont think its interesting to discuss abt conversations... so thats all. Bye! I apologise if you are expecting a nicer post for this special april fool occasion...
